Slick® Range Of Smoke and Heat Alarms
Here, Kidde’s 10-year guarantee, Slick® range of smoke and heat alarms – with its unique fast-fit system - interconnects with the company’s hard-wired carbon monoxide alarms. When a smoke or heat alarm is triggered by a fire, all the interconnected alarms - including CO alarms - activate to alert occupants of danger. When a CO alarm is triggered by carbon monoxide, all the interconnected CO alarms activate. Importantly, there are different, distinct alarm sounder patterns for carbon monoxide and fire, supported by different display messages on the digital CO alarm. Interconnected CO alarms in bedrooms can act as the sounder for smoke/heat alarms elsewhere. For a minimal extra cost, this arrangement ensures that sleeping occupants are woken in the event of a fire while protecting against carbon monoxide poisoning too.
