Dramatic increases in UK water consumption combined with major flooding events and climate change are driving the need for innovative rainfall and surface water management solutions. Polypipe Rainstream offers the ideal way to capture, filter and store the water that falls on roofs, roads and paved areas so that it can be re-used for non-potable applications such as flushing toilets, gardening and vehicle washing. A typical Rainstream solution will include an above- or below-ground storage tank, a pump, and control unit, a filtration and disinfection system plus associated items such as siphonic water removal units. Both gravity- and pressure-operated systems can be created from products in the Rainstream range, with every system designed to meet the specific requirements of each individual project.
