Chiltern International Fire (CIF) has declared its support for Timber Expo 2012 by signing up as an official show partner – and its stand will focus on passive fire protection within timber construction.
The launch exhibition and seminar event last year generated widespread interest in the company’s range of services, particularly for training. Deputy Technical Manager Mark Cummings said, ‘Participating in Timber Expo 2012 will enable us to share our knowledge as an authority on fire-related issues, both through discussions with visitors and by presenting topical seminars during the show.’
Within its partnership agreement, CIF will be able to offer its clients a discount on stand space if they wish to exhibit, as well as VIP status as visitors to the show. Mr Cummings added, ‘Timber Expo offers a unique opportunity to showcase passive fire protection products and services specifically for the timber construction sector to thousands of specifiers, including architects, contractors and local authorities.’
TRADA Membership & Marketing Manager Rupert Scott said, ‘We are delighted to be working closely with Chiltern International Fire as a sister company within the BM TRADA Group. Its 35-year standing in the construction industry is an invaluable endorsement of the show, while CIF expert speakers will enrich the seminar programme in the critical area of fire.’
