With the help of Richard Burbidge’s FUSION® Commercial outdoor balustrade the purpose-built luxury Cornwall Hotel, Spa & Estate provides a stunning location for guests to relax in 43 acres of parkland estate.
Located in St Austell, the hotel complex features a 19th Century home sympathetically converted into nine bedrooms and a selection of suites, a new timber frame building with secluded Woodland Rooms and a selection of two or three bedroom holiday homes. Designed as a rural retreat for stressed-out city dwellers, the picturesque estate also features a state-of-the-art spa, complete with infinity pool; restaurants; and a choice of woodland walks.
Installed on the private balconies of all 56 Woodland Rooms, FUSION® Commercial glass panel outdoor balustrade system has been used to create a safe and stylish outdoor space for hotel guests. Combining hardwood handrails and metal newels, the system features large glass panels that maximise the sense of space and allow guests to enjoy the woodland views.

Strength tested to withstand loadings of 1.5KN/m, in line with the requirements of British Standards. FUSION® Commercial outdoor balustrade is suitable for installation on high level decks and balconies, as well as public and commercial buildings.
The system is available with a choice of infill options – hardwood balusters, hardwood slatted panels and glass panels.
