Customers visiting Marks & Spencer's store in Carmarthen are feeling the benefits of a new air conditioning system which has been designed and installed by Weatherite Building Services Ltd (WBS).
As part of its ongoing R22 refurbishment programme M&S commissioned work to replace the chiller and air conditioning equipment at their store situated in the historic welsh town.
Main Contractor Emerson Oakmere Ltd appointed M&S nominated specialists WBS to carry out the works, "Having worked with them previously on similar projects, we knew that WBS would ensure the project ran smoothly, on time and within budget," explained Neil Tuxford, Contract Manager, Emerson Oakmere Ltd.
As part of the contract WBS were required to remove the existing roof top Mercury chillers and AHU and replace with new Mitsubishi air conditioning equipment and new AHU's manufactured by WBS sister company, Weatherite Manufacturing Ltd., in addition the internal chilled water units were replaced with new DX units.
