Wakaflex is a lightweight BBA-certified lead-free flashing in a range of colours for roofing abutment work and sealing gas, oil and wood burner flue penetrations.
It has similar malleability to lead and can be stretched without using a forming tool. This makes it ideal for complex detailing and sealing double-lapped tiles which would otherwise require a specialist roofer.
Wakaflex has a smooth facing which repels dirt and a high-strength, self-adhesive backing which provides immediate weatherproofing, even on overlaps.
Cut by knife or scissors, Wakaflex is not susceptible to thermal movement and can be laid in long lengths without fixing clips.
