BRE Global has
extended the scope of its UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service)
accreditation to include testing of domestic hot water air source heat pumps in
accordance with BS EN 16147.
BRE Global’s UKAS
accredited laboratories for testing heat pumps are now capable of determining
the thermal performance of products in accordance with BS EN 16147, BS EN 14511
and BS EN 14825, precisely and efficiently.
BRE can assist in
recognising products by providing the right accredited tests for a range of UK
and European incentive schemes, such as:

Heat Pump Keymark
•
ErP Directive
•
Product Characteristics Database (PCDB), SAP/SBEM
BRE Global’s
environmental chambers can handle products with varied capacities, including
air-to-water heat pumps, water-to-water heat pumps, ground source heat
pumps and exhaust air heat pumps. We can measure the sound power emission of
M&E products including heat pumps, fans and MVHR within the BRE
environmental chambers.
BRE Global also has
well-established experience in developing experimental facilities and bespoke
tests for the innovative products and R&D projects in the heat pump
industry for a vast range of test conditions.
