Bovis Construction (Europe) Limited has been appointed by Oxford Properties and Hines under a Pre‑Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) to deliver the refurbishment, extension and full turnkey tenant fitout of 10 Paternoster Square, the home of the London Stock Exchange.
Originally completed by Bovis in 2003 as part of the wider Paternoster Square development, the building will undergo a comprehensive transformation to create best‑in‑class workspace and a new public attraction for the City.
A key feature of the project is the reimagining of the London Stock Exchange’s ceremonial heart. For the first time, the daily market opening and closing ceremonies will be visible to the public via a new glass atrium, allowing visitors to observe - and participate in - moments that traditionally take place behind closed doors.

The works also include the construction of new roof extensions, an events pavilion, and a series of terraces and balconies offering panoramic views over St Paul’s Cathedral.
The project is targeting BREEAM Excellent and NABERS 5* and is being delivered according to circular‑economy principles, with more than 95% of the building’s existing structural frame and façade being retained.
David Cadiot, Chief Executive Officer at Bovis, said: “We are delighted to be delivering 10 Paternoster Square for Oxford Properties and Hines. Having successfully completed the original building in 2003, it’s a real privilege to return and transform it into what will not only become best‑in‑class accommodation but also a new tourist destination for the City.”
Harry Knibb, Vice President, Development at Oxford Properties, said: “Supporting Oxford's long-term conviction in Grade A London offices, we look forward to working with Bovis on the creation of a state-of-the-art global headquarters for one of the City’s most important institutions. This transformative project will enable the public to fully celebrate the history of the London Stock Exchange and provide LSEG with a modern, highly sustainable workspace.”
Pre-construction services are scheduled to begin in March 2026, with project completion expected in Q4 2028.
