MCI Developments, a subsidiary of top 10 UK housebuilder Keepmoat, will deliver 158 affordable homes at Trub Farm, Castleton, in partnership with L&G Affordable Homes.
The new flagship housing scheme in Rochdale, which was granted full planning permission by the council last month, will create a range of one and two bedroom apartments, two, three and four bed houses.
The Trub Farm scheme will deliver 158 affordable homes, supporting Manchester’s social housing target of 10,000 new homes by 2032*. The collaboration between Keepmoat and L&G will bring a £40 million investment in much-needed, high-quality homes, which L&G will let as social rent and Shared Ownership.

Established in 2018 as part of the L&G Group, L&G Affordable Homes is a major UK housing developer and operator that provides Shared Ownership and Affordable Rent properties.
The Trub Farm development will also feature a cycle and pedestrian path linking the neighbourhood to the adjacent Rochdale Canal towpath.
