Housing associations A2Dominion and VIVID have completed a transfer of 582 homes across the south of England, in a move designed to strengthen local service delivery for residents.
A further 50 homes are expected to be transferred to VIVID at a later date as part of the wider programme.
The transfer includes homes located in Chichester, Eastleigh, Southampton and Fareham, alongside a community centre, play park and parking spaces.
The deal supports A2Dominion’s strategy to reduce geographic spread and concentrate investment in core operating areas. By focusing on fewer locations, A2Dominion aims to improve service consistency and responsiveness.
For VIVID, the transfer brings more homes into areas where it already has a strong presence, allowing it to build on the relationships it has with customers and local communities.
Residents were consulted ahead of the transfer, with opportunities to meet VIVID, ask questions and provide feedback. Their rights and tenures remain fully protected.
Both organisations worked closely to ensure a smooth transition, with a focus on maintaining continuity of service for customers.

While the transfer marks an important step for both organisations, the focus throughout has been on ensuring customers continue to feel supported in the homes and communities that matter to them.
In a separate transaction, A2Dominion has also agreed the transfer of 27 homes in Wealden to another housing provider, continuing its approach of aligning homes with landlords operating at scale in their local areas.
