As the doors open on the 11th edition of UK Construction Week Birmingham (NEC, September 29th to October 1st), planning has never been more important.
With a bold new theme of The Construction Reset, UKCW Birmingham is the national platform where construction comes together to understand what is changing, discover the solutions, drive progress and do business with the people delivering it.
Centred around three core themes - Building Better, Building Smarter and Building Responsibly - UKCW Birmingham will present a clear focus on the issues and opportunities that matter most to construction today.
At the heart of The Construction Reset will be a refreshed programme, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, clients, contractors, manufacturers and innovators.
Key highlights at UKCW Birmingham include:
- Industry insight - across three packed days and five seminar stages (The Construction Reset Stage; Building Envelope Stage; Building Safety & Occupational Safety Stage; Digitalisation & AI Stage; Futurebuild Innovation Showcase) UKCW Birmingham will bring together leading voices, experts and innovators from across the built environment to share fresh ideas, practical insights and real-world solutions.
- Speaker spotlight - the new Construction Reset Stage will host a Who’s Who of thought leaders and experts exploring a myriad of issues and topics; speakers include Tim Balcon, CEO, CITB; Saul Humphrey, President, Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB); and Sarah-Jayne Pizzie, Construction Deputy Director, Ministry of Justice.
- Role Model recognition - recognising individuals across every corner of the built environment who are stepping up to meet complex challenges and drive progress, the three category winners of UKCW Role Models will be announced on the Construction Reset Stage on Day One (September 29th) at 2.15pm.
- Futurebuild Innovation Showcase - new for Birmingham 2027, a curated showcase connecting the built environment’s most innovative products, technologies and solutions with the buyers, specifiers and decision-makers searching for what’s next.
- Connect and collaborate - from the Build Connect Lounge to the Construction & Supply Chain Exchange, Networking is at the heart of UK Construction Week, bringing the industry together to spark new relationships, fresh opportunities, and meaningful business connections.
- Plan ahead - to help attendees get the most out of the show, UK Construction Week has produced a handy planner, which includes a show floorplan, exhibitor list and full agenda timetable - visitors can collect a copy at the registration desk and welcome area.
- Dive into data - Build In Digital will once again curate the Digitalisation & AI Stage at UK Construction Week, where visitors can discover how cutting-edge technology, automation, and AI are transforming construction workflows, with the latest thinking on AI, digital transformation, BIM, digital twins and data-driven construction.

- VIP view - a UKCW VIP ticket gives visitors not only VIP parking close to the show halls, but entry into the VIP lounge with complimentary refreshments - ideal for networking and meetings away from the busy show floor. The one-day passes are £99.
