Insulation specialist Actis has been awarded the highest level of accreditation under the Structural Timber Association’s new quality assurance scheme.
The LABC and Premier Warranty recognised STA Assure scheme is designed to offer clients supply chain transparency in construction projects.
The scheme assesses STA members on their level of in-house quality procedures, management systems and product performance as well as external accreditations.
As well as offering the basic required standard of workshops and technical support, Actis complies with the ISO 9001 audited management system, its products are CE marked and have undergone third party approved product performance testing.
Actis UK and Ireland technical director Thomas Wiedmer said: “Attaining the STA Assure Gold level accreditation gives the market and our clients in the merchant, building, architecture and specification sectors the reassurance that we reach high quality standards."
