Illbruck has demonstrated its lock tight sealing solution at Futurebuild, which enables architects and specifiers to gain a sustainable advantage in the installation of doors and windows.
Recently launched in the UK, TP654 illmod TRIO 1050 window and door sealing tape features new geometric technology to ensure warm (or cold) air is kept within the structure, providing an airtight finish to support energy-efficient buildings.
The system also offers exceptional acoustic qualities and weather tightness, as well as strength and safety features as standard.

Alistair Inglis, Sales Director for Construction Products Group (CPG) UK’s Sealing, Bonding & Insulation division – which includes the illbruck brand - said: “TP654 offers an innovative and sustainable solution, and Futurebuild offers the perfect backdrop to showcase its industry leading credentials.
“The system offers significant advantages for architects and specifiers, particularly with the industry now working to achieve nearly net zero energy use in new buildings.
“Achieving airtightness is a key factor in this and TP654’s design, which includes closed cell foam and airtight film technologies, combined with a new geometrical shape for maximum performance, offers an innovative solution.
“TP654 also helps to create a comfortable and safe environment for building users too, with the design offering enhanced thermal and sound insulation to deliver good acoustic performance, as well as the reassurance of a B1 flammability class.
“Longevity is also assured, with TP654 formulated to robustly withstand weather conditions including UV rays and driving rain resistance up to 1050 Pa.”

Offering sealing and bonding products for windows, façades, interiors and exteriors, illbruck is one of CPG’s family of brands, which cater for the complete building envelope under a single-source solution.
As part of CPG Europe, the UK team will be welcoming visitors to their stand number E42 at Futurebuild to explain more about the brand, as well as Dryvit, Flowcrete, Nudura, Nullifire and TREMCO.
Catering for a wide array of different construction needs and providing a wealth of complex services, support and systems that are rarely found together, these brands offer a sustainable and innovation solution to all six sides of the building envelope, covering insulation, flooring, sealing and bonding, as well as fire protection.
