Dulux Trade has upgraded its range of durable coatings by making its Diamond Matt solution even tougher.
Following a product reformulation, Dulux Trade Diamond Matt offers improved durability and opacity, and also features a flatter finish compared to its predecessor.
“Our Diamond Matt coating has been a popular product for many years now and customers have fed back that in some situations they need even greater performance,” said Hazel Shelmerdine, Brand Manager for Diamond at Dulux Trade.
“Listening to their feedback, we’ve upgraded the product to give better stain resistance, durability and a more fashionable flat finish, while giving the ease of use and application that professional decorators want and need day to day.”
Alongside improving its Diamond Matt coating, Dulux Trade has taken its durability offering to a new level with the launch of Diamond High Performance Eggshell – a product that is particularly designed for super high traffic areas such as school corridors and reception areas.
Five times tougher than Diamond Eggshell, this new addition offers 43 per cent greater scuff resistance which can extend maintenance cycles by an extra year, making it ideal for even the most demanding of environments.

Within the collection, there’s now a perfect solution for every level of durability – even those which experience the highest of traffic day to day - meaning professionals can provide a fantastic finish for their customers that will look good year on year.”
