Stoke Mandeville Stadium, which is managed by the leading operator of outsourced leisure facilities within the private and hotel sector, Hotel and Facilities Management by Leisure Connection, is investing in an innovative water saving energy package which will save the stadium an impressive £5,000 within the first year of installation.
The energy saving package will include reduced flow showerheads, tap aerators and urinal controls, which are designed to save water consumption at the site. It is expected that the package will deliver a return on investment within the first year from installation.
Steve Bambury, Head of Energy at Hotel and Facilities Management by Leisure Connection commented: “We decided to invest in this package as it is a fantastic way to reduce water consumption whilst bringing back a substantial return on investment.
"Sustainability is something we place at the heart of our operation; the package is one of many investments we are making into energy saving technology across our portfolio.
"We are confident that these investments will reduce our partners utility costs and in turn help provide savings across the board.”
