Modular flooring manufacturer, Interface, has launched a new collection of Skinny Planks at Clerkenwell Design Week: On Line and Off Line – consisting of two patterns designed to work together effortlessly to create smart, commercial design with a colourful twist.
The Off Line range features a linear pattern consisting of two colours, where On Line features the same colours in a solid design. For every On Line ‘base’ colour, there are two Off Line accent colourways.
The two ranges work together to create endless design possibilities and allows designers to get playful with flooring design, experimenting with smooth transitions between neutrals and brights, and hard and soft lines.
The collection is perfect to clearly define areas through zoning – for example, Off Line can be used to establish a soft border between two or more On Line colours, or for a more vibrant effect, Off Line can be used as an accent to add a splash of colour. The collection even provides a creative way to help with way-finding by adding bands of contrasting colour.
