Everyone is looking for better, more cost-efficient ways to get the job done, and while Thompson’s is proud of its enviable reputation and high-performing product ranges, they are always working hard to research and develop new products too.
As part of that commitment, in 2015 Thompson’s is drawing on more than 20 years’ experience to launch some new product solutions – designed specifically to help customers achieve an even more comprehensive, end-to-end service.
Whether being used by an expert DIY enthusiast or a professional tradesman, the new Project Completer range aims to make taking on even the toughest jobs seem like a walk in the park.
Here, Thompson’s Product Manager, Rachel Wrigley, explains some of the thinking behind this new selection of hard-working products. “We know that people are looking for ways to do more with our products, to help them offer an even better service to clients and customers, or to help them take care of essential DIY at home,” says Rachel.
“Our customers very much see us as a brand that shares its expertise and knowledge to make sure all kinds of jobs get taken care of – and we want to continue doing that.”
Discussing the upcoming year, Rachel predicts that 2015 will be a big year for Thompson’s with new developments based on the latest technologies. Customer feedback is important to the brand and based on that, the new range contains completely new ideas with 13 innovative products that wrap around the most popular and well established choices.”
Thompson’s also has cost-efficiency at its core and as Rachel explains: “If people are investing £5,000 in a new drive or patio they want to be sure it is going to last well and the Project Completers can guarantee an expert finish that is guaranteed to last.”
“Paving and patios are another area where we feel we can make life easier and work with key exterior trends. Patio Seal is one of our most popular essentials – providing weather-proof protection – and we’ve developed a range of additions to help tailor the product even further. So you can add block paving anti-slip to provide grip on surfaces where it’s most needed, like steps, or add colours including red or buff tints.”
Thompson’s has developed the technology to offer protection on a natural stone finish too – something that’s becoming increasingly popular. So tradesman or DIY enthusiasts can enjoy all the protection of a weather proof seal, without compromising the way their exterior space looks.
In addition to all of the above Thompson’s is adding a new range of more than 40 chemical-based solutions to the family. And as Rachel concludes: “We’re overhauling our branding and packaging to create a fresh look across the entire brand – we hope people will enjoy discovering it and putting our new products to the ultimate test, working hard for them.”
