Showcasing its high quality timber windows and doors, a selection of its latest aluminium and aluminium clad window range and highlights from its Andersen portfolio, Black Millwork will be on stand B731 at this year’s Grand Designs Live event at the NEC, Birmingham on 19 – 23 October.

As one of the biggest exhibitions specifically for the self-build and homebuilding market, Grand Designs Live is the perfect place to get inspiration and meet with suppliers and manufacturers.

On display at Black Millwork’s stand will be its stylish range of quality aluminium windows, which achieve exceptional energy efficiency ratings and incorporate a number of contemporary designs, whilst having the added benefit of being an extremely sustainable specification choice.

Available in in a variety of RAL colours and bespoke shapes and sizes, the range can be adapted to almost any style and design. What’s more, the range delivers exceptional U-values as low as 0.7W/m2K – lower than the Passivhaus standard of 0.8W/m2K.

Gary Hutton, General Manager at Black Millwork, commented: “Grand Designs Live has always been a key event in our calendar and we’re very much looking forward to engaging with property developers and self builders at this year’s show. Our team has years of experience in partnering with customers from the early design stages, right through to delivery and aftercare and will be on hand at the show to answer any questions.”

Other products that will be on display at Black Millwork’s stand will be its high performance Urban Sliding Sash windows, which are available in either double or triple glazing, and its range of high specification 68mm engineered timber entrance doors, plus much more.

As the sole UK distributors of Andersen Windows, Black Millwork will also be showcasing a selection of products from this portfolio, including its popular Woodwright vertical sliding sash windows. Andersen windows are a highly sustainable choice with the incorporation of Fibrex - a new generation wood, which is manufactured with up to 50% recycled pine waste, and provides the strength and durability of wood but with low maintenance.
