Zoo Hardware has introduced a new selection of stainless steel door levers, turn and release sets and escutcheons to its ZCS2 range of architectural hardware.
The new ZCS2G3 and ZCS2G36 door levers and accessories build on the popular ZCS2 commercial hardware range, designed for high-level performance on commercial projects, without compromising on style.
For the ZCS2G3 range, key additions include an upgrade to BS EN 1906 Grade 3 for category of use, offering certified durability for high use public buildings, as well as Powder Coated Black, PVD Satin Brass and Antique Brass finish additions.
The ZCS2G36 offers the same specification and certification on a slim 53mm x 6mm push-on sprung rose to give the same reliability with further emphasis on design elegance. With matching escutcheons and turn and release sets included to allow for a full suite of products to be specified on the slimmer 6mm rose.
The additions include a new to the range ‘peanut’ turn and release design - available in both standard and accessible variations – to offer improved usability, comfort and aesthetics on commercial projects where performance meets architectural appeal.
All levers, escutcheons and Turn and Release sets in the ZCS2 ranges have been successfully fire tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1634-1 and are suitable for use on 30/60 minute timber fire doors.

All levers are supplied with HESO spindles, bolt through and wood screw fixings for ease of installation while instantly elevating the aesthetic of any 35-54mm door. These ranges are supported by a full suite of finish-matched door hardware, allowing specifiers to supply a fully co-ordinated set of door hardware from a single trusted source – delivering clean aesthetics, consistent finishes and a professional result across every project.
The new ranges are manufactured from grade 201 Stainless steel, come with a 10-year mechanical guarantee, have been successfully fire tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1634-1, suitable for use on 30 and 60 minute timber fire doors, as well as being successfully mechanically tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1906 : 2010, achieving Grade 3 Category of Use for high use public buildings.
